Lee Salzman has been invited to participate at SXSW Music and Film festival in Austin, Texas this year. She will be part of a small group of industry insiders giving complimentary 10 minute sessions to many bands and artists that will be lined up to partake in “speed management”.
Marty Salzman will be among the industries foremost legal experts learning about the newest legalities in regards to online piracy in which musicians and songwriters are losing money and how to protect them. This will be at the SXSW continuing education legal symposium and receive CLE credits.
Boston College is hosting a one day class about Magic Slim, his story and music. This will be a wonderful learning experience for college students who want to learn more about the music that launched rock and roll.
